The National Police Service Commission Chairperson, Eliud Kinuthia, CBS joined Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary, Kipchumba Murkomen, in officiating the 13th Edition of the National Police Service Cross Country Championships 2025 held at the Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi.
In his address, the Chairperson congratulated the athletes for qualifying for the national championships, emphasizing that their performance would pave the way for their participation in international competitions. He further urged Commanders to establish flexible working programs to support the athletes in meeting their training and competition needs.
Athletics and sports is a significant aspect of police welfare that promote healthy physical and mental state of officers to effectively perform their duties.
Accompanying the Chairperson were Commissioners John Ole Moyaki and Edwin Cheluget. The Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, was represented by Deputy Inspectors General Eliud Lagat and Gilbert Masengeli
